Offering sensitive support to those who need it the most.
You’ll offer highly-personalised, sensitive care and support to people in their own homes, including
in extra care schemes. Practically, you’ll support:
Helping with bathing, toileting and continence care.
Administering and prompting self-administration.
To meet customers’ nutrition and hydration needs.
Helping with light housework and laundry.
Supporting community access and participation in social activities.
But there’s so much more to it. You’ll build trust and professional friendships with customers. Think creatively to help them enjoy the best possible quality of life. Motivate and encourage maximum independence. Provide emotional support in tougher times. And turn detective to pick up any signs that they may need further assistance.
Don’t worry, you’ll have all the training and support you need to do an outstanding job.
There’ll always be someone on hand for advice and support.
